CASE STUDY — RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICAL, OHIO

Half a million dollars in seven months. One van to four.

An Ohio electrician was living job to job on word of mouth. We took over everything — ads, phones, booking, follow-up, collections — and put 237 completed jobs worth $502,081 on his books. Here's exactly how, with the real numbers.

Where he started

One van. All word of mouth. The owner was answering calls between jobs, quoting at the kitchen table at night, and never sure where next month's work was coming from. He'd started with a new website — but a website doesn't ring the phone. He wanted to actually grow.

Three problems every growing electrician hits

01

The word-of-mouth ceiling.

Referrals are free, but you can't schedule them. Some months the phone rings. Some months it doesn't. You can't hire a tech — or buy a van — on "hopefully."

02

The owner was the office.

Every missed call while he was in a panel was a job that went to the next guy on Google. Leads that did come in died waiting: no follow-up on estimates, no reschedule chasing, no one working the list. A lead you don't answer in minutes is a lead you paid for and lost.

03

Nobody could say which dollar made money.

He'd seen what agencies deliver: a report full of clicks and a phone that stays quiet. Clicks don't cash checks. Without tracking every lead to a completed, paid invoice, "marketing" is just spending with extra steps.

What we did about it

01

We built the lead engine.

Paid ads on every channel that works for electricians — plus the creatives, the landing pages, and a review-growth push. Not "set and forget": managed weekly against what each channel actually returned.

40 → 274 leads/month at peak
1,219 leads total
02

We became his front office.

We answered the phones. Qualified the leads. Booked the jobs. Chased the reschedules. Followed up every estimate. Collected the invoices. He ran crews; we ran everything between the ad click and the paid invoice.

03

We tracked every dollar to the invoice.

Every job tied back to the channel that produced it — real collected revenue, not form-fills. That's how we found the channels producing $2,800+ average tickets and the panel-and-rewire jobs up to $21K, doubled down there, and cut the channel producing $600 service calls with a 33% booking rate.

The trust cycle

Every completed job triggered an automated review follow-up — no chasing, no forgetting. Reviews quadrupled over the engagement. More reviews meant more people finding him on their own, without an ad click: by the sixth month, 30% of leads were organic — and rising. That's the cycle: jobs earn reviews, reviews earn free leads, and the cost of growth goes down while revenue goes up.

He started with almost no reviews and zero organic leads. Seven months later: hundreds of reviews, and nearly a third of the phone ringing for free — still climbing when the engagement wrapped.

JUN
$135K month — his best yet. Contract complete. His bottleneck now? Hiring techs fast enough to keep up.

He paused ads at the end of the engagement for the best reason a contractor can have: the crew couldn't grow as fast as the demand. That's the problem we create.

"I went from wondering where the next job was coming from to worrying about hiring fast enough. They didn't just run ads — they ran my whole front office. I just ran the crews."
